The Annual International
Sports Festival has been a long-standing traditional feature of
the life and culture. Formerly known as Robert College, the
history of the University dates back to 1863, as the first
American institution of higher education established outside the
USA.
The Athletic Association was established in 1896, then renamed as the “Sports Committee” as it is still known today. For the past 111 years, this association have been organizing all the sports events in the university.
